My name is Bruno Monteiro. My first real contact with copywriting came at Empiricus Research — Brazil's largest independent financial research firm — where I had the opportunity to work directly alongside Roberto Altenhofen, one of the greatest copywriters in Brazil. Empiricus was partially acquired by The Agora Companies (home of Bill Bonner, Mark Ford, Evaldo Albuquerque, and Rocky Vega), and I grew from a technology background into the role of CTO & Martech lead, leaving the company in 2022.

Before BM's Swipe File, I founded Swiper — one of the leading copywriting and direct-response reference platforms in Brazil, built to bring the swipe file discipline to Portuguese-speaking markets.
